The Alabama Section of ARRL

Section Calender

Alabama Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES®)
SEC Mike Watkins, WX4AL
Our Section Emergency Coordinator is Mike Watkins, WX4AL. Mike was first licensed in 1988 and has served as EC for Lee County, DEC for District D, and as SEC before. Mike led the Alabama ARES® to great heights in the Simulated Emergency Test and dominated as an ARES leader. Under Mikes leadership you can expect great things. Even though Mike is an Auburn graduate and a Tiger fan, we think of him as the Nick Saban of ARES
.
