I am the Webmaster for the Werner’s Weather /Ham Radio web site In the Tennessee valley. When I was in high school, I had an idea, and started this web site that combined weather and amateur radio. When I started the web site I had no idea how it was going to work out. The end result is I now give people much needed and important information about the weather via emails.

In July of 1995 I obtained my amateur radio license as a No Code tech. Then in August of 1996 I upgraded my license to tech-plus. I appreciate the hobby of amateur radio because I know there are people and organizations that depend on us when the need arises. Two years later I got my basic storm spotter certificate, and October 2001 I received my advanced certificate. One of my goals as your Special Needs Liaison officer for the state of Alabama, is to make a lasting legacy for the hobby.
